About The Position

Polyglass is seeking a dedicated Process Operator for its 2nd shift operations. This role involves ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing processes while adhering to strict quality, safety, and environmental standards. The operator will be responsible for various tasks depending on the specific area, including material handling, machine operation, quality control, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage, shift differential, and a completion bonus.

Responsibilities

Promote health, safety, and environmental regulations by ensuring that standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to in compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local requirements.
Promote the quality system through adhering to the elements of and being familiar with the philosophy, quality statement, quality manual, and procedures.
Maintain a safe working environment. Follow all safety rules and procedures.
Responsible for visual quality of product.
Maintain work station; keep clean, organized, and safe from tripping hazards.
Operate Bagger/Strapper machine to accurately weigh and measure raw materials as required.
Operate Boxer machine to accurately stamp or label boxes as required.
Perform process for splicing into production line surfacing fabrics and film as needed (Middle Operator).
Maintain the operation of the entire middle section of the line in relation to quality specification and product requirements (Middle Operator).
Maintain the operation of the press rollers and cooling process of the sheet (Middle Operator).
Set up raw materials.
Assist for set up in product changes.
Weigh and measure raw materials and fill raw materials as required (Coatings Operators).
Perform other duties as required.
