About The Position

The Process Department's purpose is to supply the packaging lines with product that meets all specifications in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that minimizes costs. This role ensures the delivery of quality batches to both Home Care and Bleach packaging lines, including completion of all required quality checks, product testing, and correct calculations for blending and ingredient ratios. The Process Operator performs all Block 6 Process Operator duties as outlined in the multi-skill certification checklist(s), ensuring consistent product supply and effective communication for issue resolution. They also champion Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME) and Clorox leadership principles, complete department training objectives, and manage day-to-day inventory and raw materials.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years chemical experience.
  • Demonstrated technical skill and ability, mechanical and machine/process troubleshooting.
  • Thorough understanding of valves, pumps, piping, product flow, etc.
  • Strong math and arithmetic skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service.
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High school diploma.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years rail king experience preferred.
  • 1-year fork truck experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated improvement results for their functional areas/teams or previous work experience.
  • DOT/confined space experience.

Responsibilities

  • Follows a safety-first culture, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Ensures delivery of quality batches to Home Care and Bleach packaging lines, including quality checks, product testing, and calculations.
  • Performs all Block 6 Process Operator duties as outlined in the multi-skill certification checklist(s).
  • Ensures consistent product supply to Bleach and Home Care, including effective communication and resolution of issues impacting product delivery.
  • Ensures effective execution of department AM/PM GME area of excellence.
  • Champions Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME) and the Clorox leadership principles (myLeadership).
  • Completes department training objectives and milestones.
  • Manages day-to-day inventory and raw materials.
