About The Position

Polyglass is seeking a dedicated Process Operator to join our team for the 3rd shift. This role involves operating machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to work independently, and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills. Responsibilities include adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting the quality system, and performing various machine operations such as weighing, measuring, labeling, and maintaining production lines. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate, shift differential, and a bonus upon completion of the probationary period.

Responsibilities

Promotes health, safety and environmental regulations by ensuring that standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to in compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local requirements.
Promotes the quality system through adhering to the elements of and being familiar with the philosophy, quality statement, quality manual, and procedures.
Maintains a safe working environment. Follows all safety rules and procedures.
Responsible for visual quality of product.
Maintains work station; keeps clean, organized and safe of tripping hazards.
Bagger/Strapper Operator – Accurately weighs and measures raw materials as required.
Boxer Operator – Accurately stamps or labels boxes as required.
Middle Operator – Performs process for splicing into production line surfacing fabrics and film as needed. Maintains the operation of the entire middle section of the line in relation to quality specification and product requirements. Maintains the operation of the press rollers and cooling process of the sheet. Sets up raw materials. Assists for set up in product changes.
Coatings Operators – Accurately weighs and measures raw materials and fills raw materials as required.
Performs other duties as required.
