About The Position

The Process Operator I is responsible for timely and accurate secondary and molding operations for assigned parts and assemblies. The operator is expected to meet individual efficiency standards and comply with quality specifications, ISO requirements, and safety procedures. The position is located in Midland, Michigan, and requires standing for the entire 8-hour shift. The operator may work on any shift and product line as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on all shifts and product lines as assigned.
• Positive teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to stand for the entire 8-hour shift.

Nice To Haves

• Some hands-on manufacturing and/or assembly experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding and secondary cells while meeting company standards for quality and quantity.
• Accurately execute SAP transactions using handheld scanners or other required devices.
• Identify visual and other quality defects when needed.
• Follow written product specification guides for assigned secondary operations.
• Comply with required safety, ISO, and other procedures.
• Maintain prompt and reliable attendance.
• Complete monthly safety training in Horizon.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
