The Process Monitor is responsible for monitoring weight butterflies throughout the shift and inspecting butterfly filets to report averages. This role also involves maintaining a neat and organized work area, complying with plant policies, and upholding the highest standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness according to GMP policies. The employee will follow written specifications for packaging and labeling products, and physically inspect products for defects, both natural and processing-related. Natural defects include bruises and blood spots, while processing defects may include foreign material and out-of-spec product. The Process Monitor must identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their supervisor, such as product tampering, willful product adulteration, unauthorized employees in restricted areas, potential product adulteration, or equipment malfunctions that could compromise product wholesomeness.
