About The Position

We are seeking dedicated Day Shift Poultry Process Workers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products by inspecting them for defects and adhering to all company policies and procedures. You will work with various tools and equipment, maintain compliance with food safety regulations, and contribute to efficient production. Availability for overtime is essential to meet production demands.

Requirements

• Must be able to move (bend, stoop, climb stairs) within the department.
• Must be able to stand up to 100% of the scheduled shift.
• Demands include gripping, lifting, cutting, and repetitive use of hands.
• Ability to properly wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Ability to lift/maneuver up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work in extreme cold or hot temperatures.
• No training, education, or experience required.
• Urine Drug Test Required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and plant-specific rules.
• Inspect all product for defects, both naturally and unnaturally occurring.
• Work at a safe pace to maintain efficient production.
• Know and understand specifications/requirements for each product.
• Safely work with and around knives, scissors, and other equipment.
• Maintain compliance with departmental and facility job hazard analysis (JHA) and job safety analysis (JSA).
• Maintain compliance with all food safety, HACCAP, and OSHA regulations.
• Work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Be available to work overtime when necessary to meet production needs.
