About The Position

The Inspector will be responsible for understanding and adhering to customer specifications for each product. This role involves visually scanning products, manually realigning misshapen items, and separating "marriages" (products stuck together). The inspector must maintain a high level of personal hygiene and cleanliness according to plant GMP policies. Key duties include physically inspecting products for both natural defects (like bruises and blood spots) and processing defects (such as foreign material or out-of-spec product). The inspector must also identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their supervisor, including product tampering, willful product adulteration, unauthorized personnel in restricted areas, or equipment malfunctions that could compromise product safety.
