Process Manager

Personify HealthTempe, AZ
$75,000 - $90,000

About The Position

In a TPA environment, operational complexity is constant — and the difference between chaos and clarity comes down to how well processes are designed, documented, and governed. The Process Manager is the person who makes that happen. You'll own a cross-functional portfolio of projects, redesign workflows that aren't working, and ensure that when things go sideways, the right people know exactly what to do. This isn't a role where you wait for direction. You'll move between strategic process design and live incident coordination, between governance frameworks and change rollouts — keeping the organization aligned and moving forward regardless of what gets thrown at it.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, operations, or a related field — or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years managing cross-functional projects end-to-end, including scope, schedule, risk, budget, and stakeholder communications
  • Prior experience in a TPA, healthcare, or technology-powered organization strongly preferred
  • Project management platforms including Asana, JIRA, MS Project, or similar
  • Process modeling and mapping tools such as Visio or BPMN
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and virtual meeting platforms

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of cross-functional projects: Draft project charters, build and maintain detailed project plans, manage milestones and dependencies, and drive teams through to completion — across one-time initiatives and annually recurring programs alike.
  • Redesign how work gets done: Analyze existing processes for bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then design and implement solutions that reduce cycle times and sharpen operational performance across the organization.
  • Keep documentation and governance sharp: Develop and maintain SOPs, process flowcharts, and diagrams — partnering with functional SMEs to ensure documentation stays accurate, current, and usable in practice.
  • Lead change with intention: Build change management strategies, communication plans, and training rollouts that help cross-functional teams adopt new processes and frameworks without losing momentum.
  • Coordinate incident response: Manage communications across internal and external stakeholders during incidents and outages, maintaining escalation protocols and ensuring the right people have the right information at the right time.
