About The Position

This role focuses on evaluating and improving operational and administrative processes across various business functions. The Process Improvement Project Manager will partner with stakeholders to understand existing workflows, identify areas for enhancement, and develop standardized procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency. The position involves leading initiatives to simplify operations, designing practical solutions, and supporting the implementation of new systems and best practices. A key aspect of the role is creating clear documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and training materials, to facilitate employee adoption and maintain accessible process information. The ideal candidate is comfortable in evolving environments, enjoys optimizing organizational operations, and can effectively influence change without direct authority, building sustainable systems for long-term performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading process improvement, operational excellence, organizational effectiveness, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience documenting and implementing standardized business processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Experience creating SOPs, policies, process documentation, or training materials.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current operational and administrative processes across multiple business functions.
  • Partner with project managers, field leaders, and corporate departments to understand existing workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop standardized procedures that improve operational consistency and execution.
  • Document business processes through written procedures, visual workflows, and process maps.
  • Establish governance around process ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Lead initiatives that simplify and improve day-to-day business operations.
  • Identify process gaps, inconsistencies, and operational risks.
  • Design practical solutions that improve efficiency while maintaining quality and accountability.
  • Support implementation of new management systems and operational best practices.
  • Create clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and work instructions.
  • Develop training materials, instructional videos, and digital resources to support employee adoption.
  • Organize and maintain centralized documentation to ensure processes remain current and easily accessible.
  • Support rollout and communication of new procedures across the organization.
  • Lead process improvement efforts supporting high-impact operational initiatives, including: Standardizing procurement request and material purchasing processes.
  • Developing formal policies and procedures governing scrap copper recovery and asset management.
  • Improving documentation, accountability, and consistency across operational workflows.
  • Identifying additional opportunities to improve business processes as the organization continues to grow.
