Each internship provides a meaningful experience with impactful projects. The Process Improvement Analyst Intern specifically supports the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business and operational processes across the organization. This role offers hands-on experience in observing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and translating complex processes into clear, standardized documentation. The intern will collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to enhance process clarity, optimization, and consistency across teams. By the end of the internship, the intern is expected to have developed multiple end-to-end process flows, including visual decision trees and summaries.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, structured documentation
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with process mapping concepts (e.g., flowcharts, swim lanes)
  • Experience or interest in tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, PowerPoint, or similar
  • Basic Excel or data analysis skills a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current business and operational processes to understand workflows and decision points
  • Gather process requirements through stakeholder interviews and working sessions
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, swim lanes, and decision trees
  • Identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborative discussions
