Process simulation/modelling, plant design & safety, materials, mechanical components design and heat transfer courses may be useful, but not required

Responsibilities

Responsible for personal safety as well as the safety of any contractors working on projects.
Complete projects with zero safety or environmental incidents.
Responsible for concept, design, estimating, quote requisition, proposal submittal, purchasing, installation, start-up, commissioning, documentation, training, and closure of small capital projects
Identify growth and cost savings projects to contribute directly to the productivity and costs associated with manufacturing
Create an environment conducive to teamwork with other engineers and employees
Able to produce and give effective presentations
Demonstrate analytical problem solving skills
Developed multi-tasking and time management skills
PC skilled with word processing, database, presentation, and spreadsheet experience
