About The Position

We are seeking a high-performing, results-driven Process Engineer to drive operational excellence across our manufacturing facility. This critical role is dedicated to identifying and eliminating root causes of downtime, executing capital and process improvement projects from concept to commissioning, and significantly expanding our production capabilities. The ideal candidate blends rigorous analytical troubleshooting with hands-on technical execution to maximize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), throughput, and line capacity.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of process/manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing or processing facility.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing engineering required.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), PLC logic, data analytics software (Ignition).
  • Ability to convert raw process data into actionable engineering projects.
  • Hands-on, shop-floor presence with a strong sense of urgency regarding downtime.
  • Rigorous approach to budget, scope, timeline, and contractor management.
  • Communicates effectively from frontline operators to senior management.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification strongly preferred; proven expertise with DMAIC, SMED, TPM, and Kaizen.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured problem-solving (5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA) on major unplanned downtime events; design and deploy permanent engineering countermeasures.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze line performance metrics, minor stops, and speed losses to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Maintenance teams to convert unscheduled breakdown interventions into proactive, optimized Preventive/Predictive Maintenance routines.
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), setup checklists, and changeover protocols to minimize line transition times (SMED).
  • Manage capital expenditure (CapEx) initiatives from initial business case and equipment specification through FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning.
  • Direct multidisciplinary project teams comprising vendors, external contractors, plant maintenance, safety, and production personnel.
  • Maintain strict control over project timelines, milestone tracking, resource allocation, and budget compliance.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and re-engineer manufacturing processes to increase unit throughput and system bandwidth.
  • Evaluate and implement automated tooling, robotics, vision inspection, and advanced controls to eliminate manual constraints.
  • Optimize critical operating parameters (temperatures, pressures, feed rates) to enhance yield, reduce scrap, and maintain strict quality standards.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Product Engineering to ensure new products seamlessly scale into existing manufacturing Operations.
