About The Position

The Process Engineer determines the most cost-effective ways to use basic factors of production (people, equipment, materials, information and energy) to produce a product. The Engineer will be primarily concerned with the standardization of process, equipment specifications, procurement, and estimating. The responsibilities would include aiding in the development of manufacturing processes, design of fixtures, identify workflows, and studying ways to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • CAD Experience
  • Previous experience with Automation
  • 2+ years in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (notably Excel) and ERP systems
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an ability to facilitate trainings and develop documentations.
  • Strong organizing, planning and multitasking skills

Nice To Haves

  • Steel experience strongly preferred
  • Lasers, press brakes, machining centers, plasma and welding experience preferred
  • Experience in materials control (flow of material and parts in and out of the plant), production control (efficient production process) and quality control preferred
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and IATF 16949
