About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer to support process characterization, metrology, development, and optimization across nanofabrication and packaging disciplines. This role will work closely with engineering teams to execute experiments, pilot runs, process improvements, and design of experiments while ensuring accurate process measurement, tool performance, and documentation compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in metrology, process characterization, nanofabrication or packaging tools, and a proven ability to use data to improve yield, throughput, and overall process performance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform process characterization functions within specific nanofabrication or packaging disciplines, directed by MPT engineering, workflow and project tasks.
  • Operate nanofabrication or packaging tools to support experiments and pilot runs according to workflow and project schedules.
  • Collaborate with MPT engineering and create and maintain standard operating procedures for each nanofabrication and packaging module and/or toolset.
  • Identify areas of process improvements and propose actions to improve yield.
  • Support development of and perform design of experiment routines to improve process performance.
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships to identify and create project goals and objectives.
  • Analyze data that is considered part of relevant work tasks.
  • Perform regular characterization of nanostructures or other critical to quality or function parameters for nanofabrication or packaging.
  • Monitor and control tool performance through implementation of Statistical Process Controls.
  • Update MPT engineers and stakeholders on issues and statuses.
  • Monitor overall fab cycle time and throughput and check for improvements and optimization.
  • Maintain tool status in RDB or other systems as needed.
  • Update and maintain following documents (All the documents pertaining to the process engineering shall comply with SEMI applicable standards): Create and maintain SOPs, Recipes, travelers and other run documentation, Design of experiment and analysis reports, Maintain process charts and records, Prepare process specific training materials.
  • Support structured problem-solving activities, failure mode analysis and collaborative activities to gain knowledge of material and process capabilities.
