About The Position

The Process Engineer works onsite in Pueblo, Colorado, and reports to the Process Engineering Manager. This position supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for solid rocket motors and energetic materials. The role spans the process lifecycle, from early development and feasibility through scale-up, qualification, and production readiness, in collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Safety, and Compliance teams. The successful candidate has a strong technical foundation, a continuous improvement mindset, and is ready to take on increasing ownership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role operates on a compressed 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. It involves developing manufacturing processes, procedures, tooling, and systems; supporting the scale-up and production qualification of energetic materials processes; and contributing to process controls, performance metrics, and production readiness documentation. The Process Engineer also maintains technical documentation, prepares reports and presentations, and works with senior engineers and technicians to deepen expertise in process engineering, safe handling of energetic materials, and manufacturing practices. Candidates must satisfy applicable eligibility requirements for explosives licenses and U.S. Government space technology export regulations. The stated base salary range is $90,000–$115,000, depending on experience, skills, and location; this range does not include benefits or bonus/incentive compensation.
