Position Overview The Process Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring manufacturing processes are standardized, safe, efficient, and capable of consistently delivering high-quality products on schedule. This role drives continuous improvement across operations by developing and maintaining standard work, optimizing cycle times, and supporting new product launches and process implementations. Through cross-functional leadership and data-driven decision-making, this position directly impacts key operational performance targets including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering (5+ years preferred).
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in project management or leading cross-functional initiatives preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
  • Highly detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of standard work procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across assigned processes.
  • Drive process performance by defining and maintaining cycle times, labor standards, and operational efficiency metrics on a regular basis.
  • Lead and coordinate multiple small-to-medium engineering and improvement projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business priorities.
  • Conduct regular Gemba walks and safety process reviews to identify risks, implement countermeasures, and promote a zero-incident environment.
  • Develop and maintain PFMEAs and lead cross-functional reviews to proactively reduce quality risks and cost of poor quality.
  • Support new product launches and process introductions, ensuring successful LV1 readiness and seamless implementation of standards.
  • Lead capacity studies, layout optimization, and process flow improvements in collaboration with Industrial Engineering and Packaging teams.
  • Drive Engineering Change Notice (ECN) execution, packaging validation, and trial activities while ensuring compliance, timing, and budget adherence.
  • Remove operational roadblocks and escalate critical risks or issues to engineering leadership as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
