About The Position

The Process Engineer provides engineering technical support to designated production departments, using technical expertise to ensure smooth process operations. The role evaluates, develops, and implements technical strategies that support those departments. It also contributes to daily operations, troubleshooting, equipment documentation, capital projects, long-term optimization, and shutdown planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or a related field.
• Five years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.

Nice To Haves

• Lean Manufacturing Certification.
• SAP experience.
• Previous experience working in a food manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
• Create, develop, and lead department-specific capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
• Identify opportunities aligned with business goals and provide input and direction on day-to-day operations.
• Work daily with operators and supervisors to support plant operations using Short Interval Controls (SIC) and help troubleshoot problems.
• Initiate and support area improvement projects for long-term optimization and problem solving.
• Assist with shutdown planning.
• Assist the Maintenance and Reliability Coordinator in defining shutdown scope.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
