About The Position

The Process Engineer is responsible for developing and documenting die cast processes for optimum quality and output. This role involves assisting operations in maintaining optimum process and troubleshooting, participating in tool design and cavity configuration for both new and existing programs, and working with other departments during APQP events to ensure smooth introduction of new and revised die castings, or to resolve equipment, process, quality, efficiency or tooling issues. Minor maintenance on die cast machines is also required, as well as participation in continuous improvement activities. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • 10 years of experience in set-up, operation and process development with die cast machines, preferably Buhler, Prince and Weingarten machines
  • A strong understanding of complex die cast tools integrated with hydraulic and electronic cylinders, slides and switches
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
  • Due to ITAR and U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible for employment.
