Due to continued growth, Taurus is seeking a qualified Process Engineer for its Port Lavaca, Texas office, who will be assigned onsite at a client location in Point Comfort, Texas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Chemical Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and approve engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Provide engineering support for the Process discipline with the ability to work independently.
  • Offer Process Engineering support for assigned projects.
  • Apply skills and technical knowledge in the application of process applications.
  • Provide design support for process equipment, pressure vessels, piping systems, skid units, etc.
  • Ensure designs comply with Safety and Loss Prevention principles, industry standards, good engineering practice, and local codes and regulations, utilizing knowledge of process equipment and systems, applicable codes, and standards.
  • Support process equipment specification and procurement.
  • Provide estimates of work to be performed.
