Due to continued growth, Taurus is seeking a qualified Process Engineer for its Port Lavaca, Texas office, who will be assigned onsite at a client location in Point Comfort, Texas.

Requirements

Bachelor of Chemical Engineering
Team player able to work effectively with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and approve engineering drawings and specifications.
Provide engineering support for the Process discipline with the ability to work independently.
Offer Process Engineering support for assigned projects.
Apply skills and technical knowledge in the application of process applications.
Provide design support for process equipment, pressure vessels, piping systems, skid units, etc.
Ensure designs comply with Safety and Loss Prevention principles, industry standards, good engineering practice, and local codes and regulations, utilizing knowledge of process equipment and systems, applicable codes, and standards.
Support process equipment specification and procurement.
Provide estimates of work to be performed.
