The Process Engineer I or II (depending on experience) is responsible for providing engineering, validation and maintenance support to the process manufacturing equipment, facility and utilities at the site. This role ensures new equipment is appropriately designed/qualified and existing equipment is maintained in a compliant manner throughout its lifecycle. The engineer will execute administrative preventative maintenance activities, facilitate equipment maintenance, calibration, and qualification with external vendors, and provide support for various manufacturing or laboratory equipment, including portable assets, bench-top instruments, bio-safety cabinets, incubators, or freezers, with back-up support for major processing equipment. The role also involves managing changes to process equipment, investigating deviations, developing corrective actions, participating in audits as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), monitoring equipment performance, and evaluating new technologies.
