About The Position

The Process Engineering Technician provides technical support and sustaining engineering in a product manufacturing area. Planning and directing implementation of equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products. Acting as engineering liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible. Responsible for assuring manufacturing process is running per procedure or conducting engineering tests Monitors manufacturing process or performs failure analysis for engineering or quality Takes measurements for process control or gathers measurement data for engineering Re-writes documentation to update new practices or writes and prepares reports for engineering or quality Responds to data on process control charts or maintains material movement spreadsheets and reports results Runs tests through production process line or assists process engineer with evaluating for rescaling Examine product under magnification using micro-scope equipment Responsible for all processes within manufacturing and/or support the efforts of engineers Perform process control activities such as measuring product or performing tests Follow all safety measures.

Requirements

Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude and troubleshoot skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to demonstrate staying focused with repetitive tasks.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Fast learner that can apply training and information through work actions.
Has fine motor skills and rapid mental-muscular coordination.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident due to ITAR requirements.
Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.
