This Process Engineer position is within the Manufacturing Sciences & Technology (MS&T) department, specifically focusing on Downstream Technology Transfer, at Catalent, Inc.'s Madison, WI facility. Catalent is a leading global Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that offers advanced mammalian cell line engineering and biomanufacturing capabilities using single-use systems, along with integrated formulation and analytical services. The MS&T department acts as a technical services organization, facilitating process and technology transfer between Process Development (internal and external) and at-scale GMP manufacturing. The Technology Transfer groups (Upstream and Downstream) serve as key technical liaisons, ensuring the successful transfer and execution of biologic processes for various modalities, including monoclonal antibodies, fusion proteins, enzymes, mRNA, and emerging technologies. The department's responsibilities encompass process modeling, facility fit assessments, initial bill-of-materials development, equipment and consumables evaluation, and authoring critical manufacturing documentation. This role is 100% on-site and involves providing hands-on process readiness and execution support to ensure robust, compliant, and scalable manufacturing operations.
