About The Position
At HIPP Design + Consulting, Process Engineers design process systems for industrial facilities and specialize in the design of systems for pharmaceutical and biotechnology plants from conceptual to detailed design.
Requirements
- College Degree or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of design firm experience
- Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Nice To Haves
- P.E. certification preferred
- Up to 2 years of CAD and/or Revit exposure preferred
Responsibilities
- P&ID development
- Process flow diagram preparation
- Pipe sizing
- Equipment selection
- Process calculations
- Equipment selection
- Piping details preparation
- Equipment general arrangement development
- Pressure relief sizing and specification
- Code interpretation
- Onsite field verification
- Participation in project interdisciplinary coordination meetings
- Collaborating with team members to prepare process utility bases of design and narratives
- Provide onsite client support as needed
