About The Position

This is a salary position leading a highly talented team of die makers in the construction, tryout, and quality revisions to meet Ford die standards. As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love.

Requirements

• Experience leading a team of die makers.
• Experience in construction, tryout, and quality revisions of dies.
• Knowledge of Ford die standards.
• Ability to coach standardized work.
• Servant leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces stamping dies, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work.
• Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high-performance standards through servant leadership.
• Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams.
