This is a salary position leading a highly talented team of die makers in the construction, tryout, and quality revisions to meet Ford die standards. In this position, you will supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces stamping dies, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements. Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work. Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high-performance standards through servant leadership. Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and SMIRT Die Shop.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Die Maker Journeyman's card preferred
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodology and / or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP)
