About The Position

REO Plastics, Inc. is a progressive ISO certified custom injection molding company that has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process & Automation Technician. The Process & Automation Technician will be assisting the Process Engineer in designing, building and improving auxiliary equipment to maximize productivity on new and existing products. This is a hands-on experience job. The candidate will need to be able to design, build and implement new end of arm tooling (E.O.A.T). Using CAD softworks, chop saws, band saws, drill presses and other fabricating tools. The candidate would program robots and (or) PLCs to use new E.O.A.T. Helping to implement new ideas into production by training production employees with the new equipment and processes.

Requirements

Good Understanding of CAD - SolidWorks
Good Understanding of PLC's - Mitsubishi, Omron
Good Understanding of Vision Systems - Cognex, Eye+, Avalon
Good Understanding of Robotics - Fanuc, Denso, Universal, Wittmann
Good Understanding of Injection Molding Machines
Ability to design, build and implement new end of arm tooling (E.O.A.T).
Proficiency with CAD softworks, chop saws, band saws, drill presses and other fabricating tools.
Good working knowledge of Bridgeport's and power hacksaws.

Nice To Haves

Working Knowledge of CNC machine would be a plus.
