Process Analytical Support - Separations Scientist
About The Position
The role focuses on routine cGMP testing of samples for biopharmaceutical clients in a BSL-2 laboratory. Testing may include HPLC, SEC, CE-SDS, cIEF, MDI/MFI, GC, UV-VIS spectroscopy (A280 and SoloVPE), oligosaccharide mapping, turbidity, and/or osmolality. The scientist conducts analyses and reports data in electronic notebooks according to departmental requirements, applies GMP/GLP practices as appropriate, trains other analysts, supports clients and collaborates with teammates, meets quality and productivity metrics, and troubleshoots assay or instrumentation problems. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Candidates living within commuting distance of Malvern, Pennsylvania, are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related science, such as chemistry, pharmacy, or an equivalent science degree.
- Prior work experience in a GMP laboratory.
- Prior experience with separation techniques, including chromatography or capillary electrophoresis.
- Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
Responsibilities

- Provide training for other analysts.
