About The Position

This is a full-time, day/evening shift position, Monday through Friday, with hours between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm, dependent on operational needs, at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. The role involves leading the day-to-day operations and coordination of patient care services for the diagnostic imaging team. The supervisor will promote staff continuing education and evidence-based practice, facilitate communication and collaboration among disciplines for high-quality, cost-effective care, and utilize strong professional communication and collaboration skills for feedback, conflict resolution, staff training/mentoring, and patient concern resolution. Responsibilities include performing procedures, moderate sedation, critical thinking, and managing the overall flow for the new Eastpark Medical Center radiology procedures. The position is a key member of the Radiology/Medical Imaging management team, fostering a customer/patient-focused perspective and ensuring a strong commitment to organizational service standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing Required
  • 2 years relevant nursing experience Required
  • Evidence of leadership experience Required
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Required
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification Required
  • Current ACLS Certification Required

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Science in Nursing or relevant field Preferred
  • 5 years of relevant experience in clinical practice Preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience with demonstrated success Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations and coordination of patient care services for the diagnostic imaging team.

  • Be an effective member of the Radiology/Medical Imaging management team, fostering a customer/patient focused perspective and ensuring a strong commitment to organizational service standards.
