Procedure Center Registered Nurse (RN), Full-Time
About The Position
The Procedure Center Registered Nurse (RN) will provide continuous nursing care to patients utilizing both the nursing process and organization policies. This role involves administering intravenous (IV) sedation under the direct supervision of a licensed independent provider, performing ordered nursing procedures such as therapeutic phlebotomy and esophageal manometry, and administering medications including intravenous (IV) infusions and intramuscular or subcutaneous injections. The nurse will also perform insertion, assessment, and maintenance of various vascular access devices using aseptic technique and ultrasound-guidance, including peripheral IVs, midline IVs, and peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs).
Requirements
- RN License
- Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Continuously provide nursing care to patients utilizing both the nursing process and organization policies.
