About The Position
The Procedure Center Registered Nurse (RN) will provide nursing care to patients utilizing both the nursing process and organization policies. This role involves administering intravenous (IV) sedation under direct supervision, performing ordered nursing procedures, and administering various medications. A key responsibility includes the insertion, assessment, and maintenance of vascular access devices using aseptic technique and ultrasound-guidance.
Requirements
- RN License
- Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
- BLS

- 2 or more years of experience (for bonus eligibility)
Responsibilities
- Continuously provide nursing care to patients utilizing both the nursing process and organization policies.
- Administer intravenous (IV) sedation under the direct supervision of a licensed independent provider.
- Perform ordered nursing procedures such as therapeutic phlebotomy and esophageal manometry.
- Administer medications such as intravenous (IV) infusions and intramuscular or subcutaneous injections.
- Using aseptic technique and ultrasound-guidance, perform insertion, assessment, and maintenance of peripheral IVs, midline IVs, and peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs).
