About The Position

Responsible for facilitating and coordinating safe, comprehensive care for patients presenting to Moorestown Multidisciplinary sites. As a professional caregiver and member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, the Procedural Nurse Coordinator assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during a designated timeframe and provides care using the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self. Leadership may be remote, so the role requires expanded problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making at a local supervisory level. The coordinator will have an opportunity to assist with developing and operating the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site, a model focused on acute and immediate care needs in Moorestown and surrounding areas. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and clinical skills are required. The role participates in cross-training in other specialty areas and in quality assurance and performance improvement projects.

The Cooper Surgery Center at Moorestown is an outpatient facility with six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and an interventional radiology suite. Patients receive care from pre-operative assessment through recovery, supported by a surgical team and advanced technology. Specialties include general, orthopedic, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, vascular, and other minimally invasive procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
• Current New Jersey RN license.
• Current New Jersey BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Critical thinking to consider patient safety, effectiveness, and cost in delivering care.
• Expanded problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities at a supervisory level.
• Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
• Ability to delegate effectively and supervise other team members.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of specialty experience in GI or IR preferred.
• BSN preferred.
