The Division of Probation and Parole is hiring for a Probation and Parole District Supervisor. The Probation and Parole District Supervisor is a District-Wide supervisory position within the Division, in which Probation and Parole Assistant Supervisors, Probation and Parole Officers, Investigators and Office Support Staff report to. This position is primarily administrative in nature, with a span of control to include district and, or, field offices within specific geographic areas and staff assigned to those areas. Employees within this position report directly to the Regional Manager.

  • All applicants must meet all federal and state laws applicable to the carrying, use, and possession of firearms and ammunition at the time of employment.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Will be required to carry and/or use a firearm; applicant must not be prohibited from the purchase, receipt, or possession of firearms, ammunition, or both pursuant to applicable federal or state law while employed in this job classification; applicant must demonstrate competence with a firearm by successful completion of all required firearms safety training courses offered or approved by the hiring agency.
  • Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this classification.
  • Employing agency is responsible for ensuring employee possesses and maintains required licensure(s), certification(s) or other credentials.

  • Tracking and recording of accurate time and attendance for employees
  • Monthly Reports
  • Ensuring continued compliance with accreditation standards and correctional policies
  • Auditing of Officer caseloads with corrective measures
  • Evaluations and interims of staff
  • Documentation approval
  • Inventory control
  • Supervising Field Training Officer Duties
  • Supervising Interstate Compact processing duties
  • Supervising Non-Personnel Agency Training Administrator duties
  • Assigned committee and various statewide team duties
  • Compliance team members
