About The Position

Supervisory and administrative work at a professional level in a Probation & Parole office. Under the supervision of a Community Corrections District Manager, performs administrative and supervisory work required in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of correctional services. Supervision is exercised over casework and security employees, volunteers and contractors. Extensive liaison occurs with correctional, law enforcement, and service provider personnel. Oversees the development of work, education, housing, restorative justice and criminogenic needs reducing programs. All employees of the Agency of Human Services perform their respective functions adhering to four key practices: customer service, holistic service, strengths-based relationships and results orientation.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Five (5) years or more of work experience
  • Three (3) years in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of correctional services for clients in a human services setting.
  • Must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position.
  • Must provide relevant information regarding substantiated incidences of sexual abuse or resignation during a pending investigation of an allegation of sexual abuse.
  • Must receive a waiver from the Commissioner of Corrections if having any felony conviction record or if, within the past five (5) years, have been placed under supervision or sanctioned for a misdemeanor conviction.
