About The Position

The Probate Case Manager oversees accounts of deceased debtors to file and follow probate estate claims. Essential Functions Contact courts, attorneys, family members of deceased debtors to locate estate information and negotiate and arrange payments Maintain clear, concise, and professional communication with all borrowers or debtors and attorneys Follow up on accounts in queue to ensure activities and payment arrangements are maintained Report any discrepancies regarding accounts to management Contact estate attorney's to discuss status of claims filed Comply with all policies and procedures Maintain minimum goal standards Participate in departmental staff meetings and on-going training exercises Assist with all other duties and related special projects, as assigned Apply at www.bass-associates.com/careers

Requirements

  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • Strong organization skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time
  • Ability to handle high volume of data entry
  • Must be able to type 45+ wpm
  • Must be able to work well independently and as a team member
  • Must have basic office skills and use standard office equipment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Internet
  • Ability to learn in-house developed software
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on accounts in queue to ensure activities and payment arrangements are maintained.
  • Report any discrepancies regarding accounts to management.
  • Contact estate attorneys to discuss status of claims filed.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Maintain minimum goal standards.
  • Participate in departmental staff meetings and on-going training exercises.
  • Assist with all other duties and related special projects, as assigned.
