As our firm continues to grow, we are looking for a Junior Probate Attorney to serve as the primary point of contact for clients from start to finish. If you're ambitious, client-focused, and eager to build a long-term career in probate and estate administration, we'd love to meet you. As a Junior Probate Attorney, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients while managing probate and guardianship/conservatorship matters from opening through resolution.

Requirements

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
  • New attorneys and recent bar passers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of contested and complex Probate and Guardianship, Conservatorship cases
  • Conducting client consultations and strategy meetings.
  • Building trusted relationships with clients through clear communication, empathy, and responsiveness.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and filing probate pleadings, petitions, motions, and related legal documents.
  • Conducting legal research and developing case strategies.
  • Representing clients in hearings, mediations, and litigation when necessary.
  • Overseeing case progression to ensure matters move efficiently and deadlines are met.
  • Collaborating with legal assistants and paralegals to provide an exceptional client experience.
  • Assisting with accounts receivable collections and client account management as needed.
  • Providing proactive updates and guidance to clients throughout their legal journey.
