Pro Sales Associate – Sunrise
About The Position
As a Pro Sales Associate at Behr, you will work in a Home Depot store as a sales specialist focused on professional painting contractors and their needs. You will build relationships with local contractors, learn about their businesses, and follow up on current and future projects. Working independently and with the Pro Desk staff, Behr outside sales representatives, and Home Depot employees, you will help contractors find the right products, pull and tint orders, gather paint tools and supplies, and complete purchases efficiently so they can return to work. The role aims to provide professional customers with a paint-store experience. Work hours vary according to peak selling times and may include weekends, holidays, and shifts extending until 7 p.m. Paint and sales experience are not required; Behr provides training. The role requires basic computer skills to use Salesforce, and occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
Requirements
- Outgoing, approachable personality and positive attitude.
- Organized and able to start conversations with contractors.
- Self-starter who can identify where help is needed.
- Basic computer skills; prior computer knowledge is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Introduce yourself to contractors at the Home Depot Pro Desk and learn about their businesses and needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors and follow up about their jobs and future needs.
- Collaborate with Behr outside sales representatives to serve contractors who visit the store.
- Pull and tint customer orders for pickup and help contractors obtain the products and paint tools they need.
- Work professionally and helpfully with Home Depot staff to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship.
- Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce.
- Help contractors get the correct products and complete their store visits efficiently.
