About The Position

As a Pro Sales Associate at Behr Paint Company, you will work in a Home Depot store as a sales specialist focused on professional painting contractors and their needs. You will build relationships with local contractors, learn about their businesses, and provide attentive customer service so they can get the right products and return to work quickly. You will work independently and alongside Home Depot Pro Desk staff, Behr outside sales representatives, and Home Depot employees. No previous paint or sales experience is needed; Behr will provide training. Work hours vary according to peak selling times and may include weekends, holidays, and shifts extending until 7 p.m.

Requirements

Outgoing, approachable personality and positive attitude.
Organized and self-starting, with willingness to help wherever needed.
Basic computer skills; ability to use customer management software, with training provided on Salesforce.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Previous computer knowledge or experience.
Bilingual language skills.
Previous paint or sales experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Introduce yourself to contractors and develop relationships by learning about their businesses and needs.
Maintain relationships with professional customers and follow up about their jobs and future needs.
Support the Home Depot Pro Desk and work closely with Home Depot staff in a professional and helpful manner.
Collaborate with Behr outside sales representatives to serve contractors visiting the store.
Identify the products contractors need, pull and tint paint orders, and collect any needed paint tools and sundries for pickup.
Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce.
Help professional customers complete their store visits quickly and provide a paint-store-style experience.
