About The Position
Ramp Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Pryor, OK. This role will support an onsite wellness and safety program for a local construction site. The position offers flexible, as-needed scheduling and is ideal for nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy making a direct impact in the field. The PRN RN will play a key role in promoting health and safety at the job site, working collaboratively with the lead nurse and site safety team to provide first aid, health education, and preventive services. This role requires hands-on, relationship-based work, with the ability to be visible on site, engage with workers, and provide approachable, trusted care in an outdoor construction environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license (required)
- BLS or ACLS certification (required)
- Excellent clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs onsite
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Experience in occupational health, wellness, or construction environments
- Venipuncture skills and/or Respiratory FIT testing experience
Responsibilities
- Assess and provide first aid for occupational injuries or illnesses with accurate documentation
- Maintain first aid and clinic supplies in clean, organized condition
- Coordinate emergency response with onsite EMTs or safety personnel
- Document injuries, prepare reports, and assist with return-to-work assessments
- Provide basic health screenings (BP, height, weight, BMI, body composition)
- Perform specimen collections for drug and alcohol screenings, as applicable
- Administer immunizations such as influenza vaccines
- Engage employees and leadership in health and wellness initiatives
- Share educational resources and promote healthy lifestyle habits
- Lead group activities such as stretch-and-flex programs or brief wellness sessions
