PRN Registered Nurse (RN) Complex Medical Care with Telemetry
About The Position
This PRN Registered Nurse position is for Complex Medical Care with Telemetry, specifically a Weekender role. The Weekender position requires working two 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday, compensated at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate. Individuals in this role qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, with other benefits at part-time levels. Lakeside 60, the unit for this role, cares for a wide variety of diagnoses, helping nurses develop strong assessment skills, critical thinking skills, and exposure to various nursing procedures. The nursing experience on this unit ranges from new graduates to over 50 years. Requirements
- 1 year of RN experience required
- Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio.
- Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation
- Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Abides by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients.
- Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (e.g., Stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices).
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients.
