We are currently searching for a PRN ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center location. This role involves 10 hours a week, normally within the hour structure 5:00am-7:30pm. The ASC Registered Nurse (RN) will exemplify our organization’s values of Quality, Teamwork, Service and Community. Demonstrated technical expertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care. This individual will also be responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University.
• Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse.
• At least two years’ experience in either ambulatory experience required.
• OR Circulator experience.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Ambulatory experience is preferred.
• PACU experience is preferred.
• Experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.
• Coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.
