About The Position

Park Nicollet is looking to hire an Operating Room (OR) Circulator RN to join their Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) teams. This role is a Partner for Good, helping to make an impact on the care and experience that patients and their families receive. The position is part of the Same Day Surgery Center Team in Burnsville, with occasional travel to other Same Day Surgery Center(s) as needed. The role supports growing services with opportunities to provide patient care in a fast-paced multi-specialty Surgical Center. Candidates with a positive outlook and ability to work well on a team are sought. The RN – Operating Room (OR) Circulator position provides direct patient care in ambulatory settings. Patient care may be a direct activity of the RN, or it may be to coordinate and supervise patient care provided by assistive personnel. It utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and Park Nicollet Health Services policy. Previous experience is preferred in the designated area.

Requirements

Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
Operating Room experience required
Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.

Nice To Haves

AORN Certification preferred (CNOR) and/or AORN knowledge base
Scrub experience preferred

Responsibilities
