About The Position

Responsible for providing quality nursing care while maintaining accountability for the coordination of patient care. This role involves providing professional nursing care to assigned MOHS surgery patients, including recording patient histories, performing various diagnostic tests, administering medications, and developing patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. The nurse will also assist physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Key duties include observing patients' progress, recording observations in medical records, and promoting patient independence by educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

Requirements

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or Nursing License Compact
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
One year of nursing experience
Current South Carolina RN License or multi-state Nursing License Compact
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
