PRN Psychiatrist – Inpatient Psychiatry- Delray Beach, FL
About The Position
ALLY Psychiatry is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric coverage at Fair Oaks Pavilion Behavioral Health at Delray Beach Medical Center in Delray Beach, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatrist looking for flexible PRN work while making a meaningful impact in an established inpatient behavioral health program. The facility is a 59-bed inpatient adult and geriatric psychiatric facility. The role involves inpatient psychiatric care with additional medical floor and Emergency Department consultations. The psychiatrist will collaborate with mid-level providers and potentially psychiatric residents in an established clinical environment with a collaborative treatment team. The position offers flexibility with W2 or 1099 options.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist
- Comfortable treating adult and geriatric psychiatric patients
- Comfortable providing psychiatric consultation services
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Florida medical license or eligibility
Nice To Haves
- Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adult and geriatric patients in the inpatient setting.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
- Perform daily inpatient rounds and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with NPs/PAs and other members of the care team.
- Provide consultation services on the medical floors.
- Offer psychiatric consultations in the Emergency Department.
- Coordinate care and discharge planning.
- Supervise and collaborate with psychiatric residents, when applicable.
