About The Position

This is a PRN Outpatient Clinical Dietitian position, primarily working out of Greenbush St. Offices in Lafayette, IN. This position will work 12-16 hours per week, day shift. No weekends and no holidays. Provides optimal nutrition care for outpatients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The Nutrition Care Process includes nutritional assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention and nutrition monitoring and evaluation. Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates nutrition education individualized to the patient/client needs.

Requirements

• Master's Degree is required or Bachelor's Degree prior to 2024.
• Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Licensure through the state of Indiana must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• Any clinical area billing for service may require CDR approval and Indiana state RD license prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides optimal nutrition care for outpatients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• The Nutrition Care Process includes nutritional assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention and nutrition monitoring and evaluation.
• Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates nutrition education individualized to the patient/client needs.
• Develop nutritional care plans.
• Provide nutritional education.
• Demonstrate competency in nutrition focused physical exam and malnutrition documentation.
