About The Position

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a PRN Licensed Therapist for their Outpatient Department. This role involves planning, coordinating, documenting, and facilitating the patient intake process, including conducting comprehensive admission assessments, gathering clinical and psychosocial information, and coordinating with referral sources, patients, and families to ensure appropriate level-of-care placement. The therapist will ensure all admission documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements. They will collaborate with clinical staff to initiate the Master Treatment Plan at the time of admission and communicate relevant patient information to the treatment team to support continuity of care. The position also includes providing crisis assessment as needed and working closely with physicians, nursing staff, and families to ensure a smooth, timely, and efficient admission process while promoting a positive patient and family experience. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 133-bed acute psychiatric care facility located in Flowood, Mississippi, providing psychiatric treatment for various conditions.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current Mississippi license as a LCSW, LMSW, or LPC
  • Two years’ experience in an psychiatric setting

Nice To Haves

  • LMSW, LCSW or LPC and four years experience in a psychiatric setting

Responsibilities
