Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 133-bed acute psychiatric care facility located in Flowood, Mississippi. We are accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and certified by Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE®. We provide psychiatric treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, phobia and more. It is important these issues get treated so individuals are able to lead a healthy and happy life. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented Licensed PRN Therapist our Outpatient/PHP Department. The Social Worker/Therapist plans, provides, coordinates, documents and evaluates direct and indirect social services to patients in accordance with established methods and procedures of the hospital. These services include but are not limited to group therapy (in person or virtual), case management, discharge planning, and meetings with the family. Maintains documentation on all required admission, treatment, and discharge documents in accordance with Department/Hospital standards and requirements of regulatory bodies. Develops and implements with other clinical staff the Master Treatment Plan and updates as needed. Carries out treatment as outlined in the Master Treatment Plan for social Services regarding scope range of practice. Collaborate with the physician and the family to ensure that all aspects of the therapeutic process are implemented and carried out.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • a current Mississippi license as a LCSW, LMSW, or LPC
  • two years’ experience in an psychiatric setting

Nice To Haves

  • LMSW and four years experience in a psychiatric setting
