PRN Lab Aide Mid Shift
About The Position
The PRN Lab Aide performs waived and moderate high complexity testing according to CLIA ‘88 guidelines, interpreting and reporting results for established tests in Microbiology. This role involves performing quality control, quality assurance, and maintenance. While working independently, the aide operates under the supervision of the department coordinator or a certified technologist/technician. Duties include clerical tasks, specimen collection, accessioning, and processing of specimens. The role also involves answering phones, relaying patient results, and monitoring expected/outstanding logs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent for areas of moderate-complexity testing.
- BLS certification.
