Lab Process Aide/Receptionist- PRN
About The Position
Seeking a Laboratory Process Aide/Receptionist for a PRN (work as needed) position with varying shifts and days at Baptist Health Floyd, located in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. This role involves performing processing, ordering of testing, accessioning of specimens, and creating batches for core lab/reference testing. The position also includes assisting with clerical quality control and maintenance duties, answering phones, relaying patient results, and monitoring expected/outstanding logs. The aide may also perform some waived or moderately complex testing as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Previous phlebotomy experience or phlebotomy certification from accredited school preferred
- Can train 8 weeks on the job
Responsibilities
