PRN Caregiver / CNA (Flexible Hours & Paid Weekend On-Call Opportunities)

Senior Helpers of Greater Grand RapidsGrandville, MI
$15 - $19Onsite

About The Position

We are building a team of dependable, experienced caregivers who are interested in picking up additional hours when opportunities become available. This role offers the flexibility to work when you're available while making a meaningful impact in the lives of local seniors. This position is ideal for retired nurses, CNAs, medical assistants, therapists, and healthcare professionals who want occasional, meaningful work; current caregivers looking to supplement their income with additional shifts; nursing, CNA, PTA, OTA, social work, and healthcare students seeking hands-on experience; experienced family caregivers who have a passion for helping seniors; and individuals looking for a flexible opportunity without a fixed schedule commitment. Our PRN (as-needed) caregivers serve as an important extension of our care team by helping cover last-minute caregiver call-offs, emergency staffing needs, new client start-ups, temporary schedule increases, weekend coverage needs, and vacation and leave coverage. When opportunities arise, our office team utilizes a preferred "Go-To Caregiver List" and contacts qualified caregivers who have demonstrated reliability, strong client care skills, and availability. You decide whether to accept the opportunity based on your availability. In addition to PRN shift opportunities, qualified caregivers may be selected to participate in our Weekend On-Call Program. Weekend On-Call Caregivers receive compensation for being available during designated weekend periods, receive priority consideration for open shifts, help support clients when unexpected staffing needs arise, and serve as a critical resource for ensuring continuity of care.
