About The Position
FirstLight Home Care of Greater Lansing is hiring compassionate caregivers. We provide paid, hands-on training, including CPR, First Aid, Memory Care, and Parkinson's training. We offer flexible scheduling with hours available 24/7, full-time and part-time options, and overtime when desired. Many of our office team members began as caregivers, demonstrating a clear path for advancement within the company. We are a Joint Commission–accredited agency, committed to a high standard of care and support for our team.
Requirements
- A patient, compassionate person who genuinely wants to help
- Willingness to learn our approach to care
- Reliable, a good communicator, and a team player
- Able to assist clients with transfers and mobility
Nice To Haves
- Caring for a parent, grandparent, or loved one and finding meaning in it
Responsibilities
- Help clients with daily living — bathing, dressing, mobility, and transfers
- Provide companionship and keep clients safe and comfortable in their own homes
- Deliver specialized care for clients with dementia or Parkinson's, following their care plan
- Grow your skills through ongoing paid training
